Nije produktivno rastresati to po raznim topicima i onda traziti tko je kome sto stavio ili dao :rolleyes: - trebali bismo sve to skupiti na jedno mjesto. Tako ce i oni koji samo gledaju i posjecuju stranicu kao gosti znati tocno gdje sto traziti, a mislim da je to smisao cijele stvari. Moj prijedlog je da svi tu stavljamo ono sto imamo o jezicima, kao sto je Antocjo napravio s Yahoo grupama za slike. Zajednicki, mislim da cemo uspjeti skupiti prilican fond rijeci, izraza, pjesama i svaceg zanimljivog, ukljucujuci i gramatiku, pravopis i slicne stvari. The Quenya word for light is "galad" and "-riel" is short for Quenya "riellë", which means "maiden crowned with a festival garland". So the correct translation of her name means would be "maiden/lady crowned with a garland of light", referring to her golden hair. She inherited it from her father, whose mother was Indis of the Vanyar (who have golden hair). It was said that the golden sheen of Laurelin was caught in Galadriel's hair. Alatariel: Telerin. 'alata' means 'shining' or 'light' and '-riel' means 'maiden with a garland of light'. Given to Galadriel by her lover Celeborn. In Sindarin it is Galadriel. Nerwen/Nerwendë: Quenya. This is the name Galadriel's mother gave her. "Ner" is the word for "man", and "wen/wendë" means "maiden". So it means "man-maiden". I don't know why she was names this, perhaps it had something to do with her being able to get the same respect as a man, being as strongs as a man. I don't know. Artanis: Quenya. Her father gave this name to her, which is a combination of "arta", one one for "noble", (there is also "ar-" "ara-" and so on) and "nis", "woman". "Noble woman". Celeborn: Sindarin. "Celeb" is "silver" and "orn" means "tree", but also "high". So "silver-high" then? Teleporno: Quenya. Same meaning as Celeborn. Celebrían: Sindarin and Quenya. "Celeb", "silver" and "rían" which is "queen". "Silver queen". Elrond: Quenya and Sindarin. "El" means "star" and "rond" is "vault" . Thus "star vault". Arwen: Quenya. The word for "noble" can be "ara-" or "ar" and many others, and "wen" comes from "wendë" which means "maiden". So Arwen means "Noble maiden". Undómiel: Quenya. "Undomë" is the word for "evening", or more precisely: "the time of evening when the stars come out; star-opening". And "el" means "star". So "Evenstar" as we all know is what Arwen is called. Elrohir: "El" is "star" and "rohir" is a mixture of "horse" and "lord. So "star horse lord". son of Elrond. Elladan: Quenya. 'star man' from 'el' and 'adan'. although it could have a different meaing since it has 2 ls. son of Elrond. Haldir: "Hal" means "tall or high". I think the translation is "tall one". Eärwen: "eär" is "sea" in Quenya" and with ending "wen" her name means "Sea maiden". Quite fitting when you concider that her father is Olwë of Alqualondë, the Swan Haven. Finarfin: Tongue? 'high Finwe'. Youngest son of Finwe and Indis. Father of Galadriel. Lúthien: Doriathrin. "lúth-", "to enchant" and "-ien", "-ress". "enchantress". Indis Quenya. The intire name means "bride". Mother of Fingolfin and Finarfin. Second wife of Finwe. Míriel Quenya. Meaning just "(female) jewel" or "of jewel" or "daughter of jewel". First wife of Finwe and mother of Feanor. Aredhel Quenya. Mene linkovi zapravo nerviraju - samo me odvlace i ostave negdje odakle se ne znam ni vratiti, nakupim hrpu nepotrebnog sranja, i opet sam na nicemu, osim sto sam izgubio vrijeme i pare. Imam neke stranice sa dijalozima (vilenjackim) i I, II, III filma. Fino na vilenjackon pa na engl. Jos i slikice tu i tamo da se vidi koji je dio filma u pitanju,. Dosta je iz EEDVD FOTR. Stvar je u tom kaj se moze skinut wav.file pa cujes kako se govori. Ma skroz je super, ja bila odusevljena time. Pogotovo dio kad Haldir pozdravlja Legolasa u Lorienu :wub: prekrasno..... mogu stavit te textove ak vas zanima ali kaj je sa wav,fileom? Stvar je u tom da bi trebalo dati link a ja ga nemrem napravit jer on jednostavno meni to ocitava sa kompa i neznam kak da to ozivim!! Jle ima koji nacin da vam to dam ak ocete? Sa svog kompjutera na server? Ma daj, vec je vrijeme da se prikacis tamo, nije komplicirano. Antocjo ce ti odgovorit mogu li se i takvi fajlovi dizati, sigurno ce povirit ovdje. Ima nekih koji ne razlikuju bas Q i S, pa da se ne bi dogodilo, ako imaju rjecnike, da traze pogresno. Znam jednog pocetnika koji je bijesan prerosto Q rjecnik i nije mogao naci nesto za sto je tek nakon 4 sata shvatio da je S... :rolleyes: Ali to je bilo davno... Eh, da, ima li netko negdje ono sto Saruman govori kada salje oblake na Caradhras? Ono dolje, u popisu za TTT ( Battle comands)- mislim da To the keep nije Am Marad - ako me sjecanje ne vara, ovako na brzinu i samo letimicno, kula je BARAD. Taj covjek totalno zraci, a njegov glas i nacin govora...jooooj!!!! sad si me sjetio, citala sam kako su lingvisti na filmu zelenili zbog tih krivih izgovora. Deranil'Selàn: Spiritwood, often said to be haunted by the souls of those long-dead, it is home to some of the strangest creatures in Lirynn. The forest runs from south of Silverdawn to Thornmist. Enth'ryni: Thornmist, Lirynn's smallest village in the south, near the border with Mirg. Jiess’awyn Mtns.: Firestone Mountains, in the south, east of Thornmist. Rumored to be the hideout of smugglers and supposedly volcanic. Mistiránlyr: Myst Lake, a popular resort spot for nobles and a major source of water for Silverdawn. Na'el, the port city, it doesn't have a translation because humans can say it rather easily. Sherintèsharyn: Drellyn Grasslands, which range from the eastern side of Thornmist in the south, to where the River Tem feeds out to the Ahrin Straits. Sianthylèsari: Silverdawn, the capital of Lirynn and the most hidden of the cities. Takashran Mtns.: Barrier Mountains, in the north, east of Na’el. Rumored to contain remnants of a ruined dwarven village. Within Silverdawn ketan: "poorer" elves live here and the vast majority spend their days harvesting fruits/leaves, aiding the lifesingers, removing debris and sewage, and other tasks. Most simple labor in the city is done by those in ketan. sianne: the middle city, inhabited by the middle class of elves, primarily scholars, travellers, the few shopkeepers, etc. terai: the uppermost portion of Sianthylèsari, inhabited by the wealthy, the noble, and the valued (artists). It contains the military academy and the two largest libraries in Silverdawn, as well as access to the Palace of Morning. yrtal: the "fourth" level of Silverdawn. Some buildings and homes can not be put up in the branches of the tree, and must be at ground level. The stables and some homes and workshops would be found here. MILITARY -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- anará: blade, also common soldier. i.e infantry. anarin: the "blades" of the kingdom. This is a term used to signify those elves who have dedicated their lives to training with weapons and learning how to kill (a task normally abhorrent to elves) in order to protect the kingdom. Also can describe the military in general. élinràsha: those in the military who serve as archers. ke'm'anarin: Second lieutenant or the equivalent. ke's'élinràsha: Sergeant or equivalent in the archery division. Guards and Government Officials cír'lianrin: the guardians of the Grand Elevator to Sianthylèsari. sas’lianrin: “Guardian Blades” – the guards to the doors of the Palace of Morning. siril'anrol: "guides along the way of the blade" -- title given only to the best weapons instructors. tel’anarol: “The Highest Blades”—the honor guard of the Monarch. tekàl: the former head of the elvish military forces, answerable only to the telár in war time, and the telár and telaré in peace. The Sects -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ke'site: “The cooperators”. The newest sect of the Church of Lirynn. The name means to raise the low to high. In other words, this sect seeks to help the low races or even the poor in the elven community to attain the higher standards of the rest. vyia’nali: the priests of the ke’site order, whom generally are appointed to the priesthood as soon as they elect the Ke’site order. They dress in midnight blue. jali’a’vyi: the overseer of the Ke’site order, who is nominally in charge, although can be removed from office. Dresses in sky blue with a large, golden sun medallion. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Siril'kete: Those who guide the low towards the ways of the high. The middle sect of the Church of Lirynn, and a very secretive, mystical bunch whose numbers and stature have greatly fallen in recent times. i’kete: “the unguided” The lowest ranking of the Siril’kete. They are dressed simply in the sleeveless green robes without any other adornment. The teachings for this order is far more rigorous as they are required to not only know their religion, but to be familiar with information-gathering and keep knowledge of rituals to themselves. A great deal of spiritual, mental and physical training is required, all of which takes years. eti’kir: “the guides”. The priests of this order and the information-gatherers. They continue to wear sleeveless green robes, but are gifted with a bracelet which encircles their wrist. silari: “those of the path”. These priests focus far more on information-collection than indoctrination, often disappearing for months or weeks at a time in pursuit of their religious ideals. Each eti’kir undertakes a lengthy assignment which generally involves a vision from the Gods before attaining this level. Their robes do not change, however the bracelet is exchanged for an armlet of vines and leaves which spiral from shoulder to elbow. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tel'arifae: The high religion of life. The biggest, oldest, and most conservative sect of the Church of Lirynn, their standing has fallen lately as the Ke’site begin to take over important functions that were once the exclusive province of the Tel’arifae. syanthine: lowest rank of the Tel'arifae. They dress in pale yellow, symbolizing the beginning of their finding their way into the Light of Dargotten. They are often sent to other parts of Lirynn to indoctrinate the common people, or they remain in the Church Tree to perform various clerical/messenger duties. te'rida: middle rank of the Tel'arifae sect. In charge of the churches beyond the Mother Church. They dress in golden-yellow, like that of the Sun. They oversee the syanthine and are often in charge of the more day-to-day sermons at the Church of Lirynn. The more important sermons are, of course, spoken by the telayrins, or even the telaris on rare occasions. telayrin: advisors to the telaris, numbering three. They are in charge when the succession of telaris takes place. They dress in white, the color of Dargotton’s Eye, shining down to guide the peoples of Telgard to salvation. They spend most of the time in the office of the telaris, aiding and advising him in his official duties. They can also be found at the Palace of Morning, as envoys from the telaris to the Monarch. telaris: the head of the Tel'arifae sect of the Church of Lirynn. Either gender may become the telaris and is the heart of their order, and thus, dressed in pure, blood red robes. He/she is the final word in all the decisions of importance, though their words may be swayed by that of the telayrins. The telaris has their offices (more like a large, spacious suite) in the Church Tree, and spends most of their time in Silverdawn, overseeing the matters of the faith. Religous Military arianin: foot soldiers of the religious orders. Each sect maintains their own private army, however they are restricted in size and authority. ke'ariana: Low religious blade, the religious military equivalent of sergeant.
